Christmas

We had a really great Christmas this year. Clara was so into it and loved the trees, the lights, the music. Every night before she went to bed we had to sing Jingle Bells to her twice. She would bob her little head on her pillow and sometimes would sing along. She really enjoyed all her presents, especially Rocket from Little Einsteins and her doll house from Grandma. She even helped decorate a bunch of cookies or put "salt and pepper" (sprinkles) on them as she would say. I didn't take a ton of pictures because I wanted to enjoy her opening the presents and I was decorating the cookies too (frosting and cameras don't mix) but I snapped a couple of her Christmas morning eating her m&ms and opening her presents. Also one of her in her Christmas dress I took a while back. I hope everyone enjoyed their Christmas as well, Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Christmas Tree

Just a few pics of us picking out our Christmas tree with my parent's and Clara's cousins. We had a great time despite the rain and cold.

Thanksgiving

We had a really great thanksgiving. I didn't take many pictures because I wanted to enjoy the day rather than document it but I did get some in the morning. Our family has a tradition of sticky buns in the morning for Thanksgiving. This year Robert and I decided to have Thanksgiving at our house so I had to make the sticky buns. I was a little nervous because this was my first time making the dough myself, but with Clara's help I think we did a good job. At least Robert thought so.

I love Thanksgiving so much, maybe it's the food or maybe it's all the time I get to spend with family but I'm very thankful we get to celebrate this day. I have so much to be thankful for.

Twik or tweet

We had a great Halloween yesterday. This year was much more fun than last year, Clara didn't get why but she sure got down the how! She caught on really quick that going to people's doors meant that they were going to give her candy so instead of saying trick or treat she would just say "candy!". Then they would hand her one piece of candy and she would give them a look and say "CANDY!". She knew how to play the game, they of course gave her a couple more pieces. she wouldn't let them put the candy in her bucket either, she had to do it herself. Sometimes she would get so excited with the other kids that they would get their candy and run away and she would run with them without getting hers! And she always said "tank you, bye, and hadoweeeeen" as she left. She was the cutest thing and was just having a great time with her cousins. They were all really cute.

Dear Robert

I love you sooo much! I can't believe we have been married for 4 years but at the same time I can't imagine my life ever being without you. You're the greatest father, the kindest husband, and my best friend, I truly married up. Thanks for taking a second glance at me while I was shaking my stuff at the dance and for changing my date plans so we ended up going together instead. Thanks for all the hugs, the kisses, the talks, the walk, the dancing and the laughs. These have been the best 4 years of my life and I look forward to many many more together. Happy Anniversary babe!
