Surprised

When our session started like this, we were a little worried about how things would go.

But luckily babies are *usually* coaxed into being happy, at least for a few minutes. Sweet little T was having such a hard time but being so cute at the same time. I wasn't sure how many good pictures I had gotten because when she was finished, she was finished. But I am so pleased with the ones I did get that it really made it worth while. These are all favorites! And I got to try out my new yummy lens :) (50mm, 1.4)

Wow Melissa, these are so fun! I can't believe she is already this big. I remember seeing this couples maternity shoot, time goes so quickly! As always stunning. Oh yes and one more thing. How do you get your eyes so glossy? That is if you want to share your secret of course. I've been trying to figure it out. I made my own eye brightening action, but your's looks glassy almost, like you used the plastic wrap tool....any hints?

Thanks you guys :) I don't usually do anything extra to the eyes, unless they are kind of dark and then I will lighten them in curves, no actions though. I do run defog and unsharpen mask on all my pics and sometimes noise removal. I think it really depends on the lighting, i think the better the catch lights the more glistening looking they are.... maybe? i don't know my secret :)

I hate pose-y shots. You are brilliant with capturing natural and genuine photos.

It's in grapevine, the botanical gardens, Liz.
