Calling All Tennis Shoes


So since having Clara, my weight has really been a struggle for me. I need help! I need support! So this post is a call to all you out there who are ready to bust out those worn out tennis shoes and get serious about losing weight! Mom's who would like to have support, recipes, motivation, etc. to help you get on the right path, to take all our cumulative knowledge and help each other out. I am by no means a health expert but I am opening this up to anyone who wants to either lose weight or maintain a healthier life and who wont be afraid to lay it all out on the table. This will be a closed blog as I don't want my weight posted all over the internet as I'm sure many of you don't want that either but everyone will be able to contribute to the blog. I'm open for ideas on what to post about, what motivates you, what you want to learn, etc. If anyone is interested, please leave a comment with your email address and we will get this thing started. Here's to keeping our New Year's resolutions!

Me too... I have made a promise to myself that I won't gain 60 lbs with this baby (I think half of that should be sufficient) but the cravings are kicking in big time... I need to be held accountable! Great idea!

I know when i lived back in Texas, I did water aerobics at the Natatorium in GP (not sure how far you are from there now...) but in a month of doing water aerobics 3x's a week, and eating salad w/ grilled chicken for lunch, a good breakfast, light snack mid morning, lunch, and a light snack in mid afternoon and a good dinner, I lost 15 lbs in 2 months...

Ohhh how I miss water aerobics... Good luck!!! I've just now got back into working out...
