Too Much

Do I take too many picture of Clara? Yes. Do I care? No.

She's starting to care though. Usually going outside is her favorite thing to do. This time she led me on to believe I just might get some good pictures of her. She was in a good mood, had her freshly fixed hair, some cute clothes, we go outside, she walks around and I follow.

"She's distracted, now's my chance!"

The next thing I know she's running back inside and closing the door on me!! I sit there and wait because sometimes she just likes to close the door and tries to open it again (she can never get it all the way closed).

I sit outside for a minute or two with no sign of her then I see her little face pop into the window.

I know she was thinking "is she gone yet?"

Melissa, I love your blog and your photography! I used your instructions for the rounded corners and it worked like a charm, thank you so much for posting that. Your daughter reminds me so much of my youngest who is 18 months...she would so shut the door on my camera too :) I love that last one of her peering through the glass that you can see your reflection in, very cool. And, I don't think you could ever take too many pictures of her so keep on snappin'. ~Dawn

Those are such cute pictures! I love the one of her looking out the door! How could they not be with such a darling daughter! I just had my first girl and I hope she is as cute as yours!

Love these! You took the words right out of my mouth! I know Abbey is so tired of my camera, but I just figure she'll thank me later.

I love how we can see your reflection in the last one. I would have tried to get out of the shot, so it's neat to see it from someone else's perspective. Now I can see it as a good thing. It depicts very well this time in your lives...you being the photographer and her being your little model. Keep it up! At least she's not telling you to "go away" like my last little client did....well, at least not in so many words! Getting a door slammed in your face is kind of insulting too I guess. ;)

PS: that blue door is awesome. You've gotten some great pics with it. Kinda makes me want to got paint some of my doors! I would LOVE a red front door, but I don't think it would go with the rest of my house...

I love this blue door! I'll be sad when we don't live with my folks anymore, i wont be able to use it as much. I should paint our new house's door blue... though i dont think it would match either. maybe i'll just take this door with me :)

Her hair is SOOO cute! I loved when Kam's hair was long enough for piggy tails and ponytails. She's adorable. Oh, and I SOO knwo what you mean about "them getting tired of us and our cameras". Jaden has been in that stage for about 2 years now...grr!!! Kam is usually game, but has to make a wack face. Boss, won't hold still cause he just doesn't care. I guess I DO need to have another baby....hey, you guys coming out this summer??? Did you say your sister's wedding is May??

Melissa Fullmer said...

yep, wedding in may. still working out travel details. gotta see if robert will be able to take that much time off but i'm pushing him to just do it. I'll give you more details later. you better make it more awesome than last time :)

Hey, the sick kids were NOT part of my "fullmers visiting arizona" plans! We'll make it be a killer time. If Bob knows what's best for him...he'll be in Joseph City Az for at least 2 days in May.

Um, ok, where are the instructions for rounded corners? Those are adorable....AND I LOVE your header...I loved your last one too though. Make me a header!!!!
