Sometimes

Some days it is really hard being mom, I don't have any regrets, but there are just a couple days and luckily they are few and far between that I really wish I could turn off the screaming and whining and make her just settle down and not run circles around me. Today was one of those days. I should have sympathy for Clara, she did have diaper rash but honestly, there are butt pastes for that. I don't know what it was about today but something had her wound up and it was driving me nuts. She was crying for everything! Crying to be picked up, crying to be put down, crying for food, crying because I gave her food, crying because I turned on a toy! Honestly! I could have really used a nap today. But despite it all, she is still the most adorable baby ever and I love her more than anything. I really wouldn't trade these days for anything.

Here eyes are all puffy from crying all.day.long.

Totally. I don't understand how people can handle more than 1, 2 maybe but when they out number both parents? NO WAY!

Awww, her eyes DO look puffy in these! Poor thing! I have a lot of days like that. Abbey can be a very demanding child at times. I usually just blame it on teething, shots, or being tired.

If it makes you feel any better, I was totally jealous of you today. There is a picture you took of Clara in October where she is wearing a crocheted hat and looking right into the camera, and sitting on a bench. Abbey has a white hat just like it, so I tried to get a picture like that of her today and she would NOT cooperate with me at all! She refuses to look at the camera anymore. I have no idea how you get Clara to be such a good sport about pictures! It seems like she should be just as burnt out on them as Abbey is, and yet you continue to get priceless eye contact from her again and again! How in the heck do you do it? I offer snacks, make silly faces, and even just be quiet to see if she'll eventually look over at me, but she rarely does and the few times she does look at me, she looks away the second I put my camera up to my face. It's SO frustrating!!

Anyway, I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day. (Today actually) I have got to get to bed, or else I'm going to have puffy eyes too! Night!

She is freaking beautiful! Seriously, that second picture...we're going to have to lock her and Kamryn up until they're 20!!!
I seriously had soo many days like that when Kam was little. I spent a good 75% of my days in my PJ's frustrated! It gets better. Just take Bob's advice and don't have anymore! HA! Just kidding. But know that it's a phase. And yes, Kam's lasted 2 years, but she is amazingly sweet now! Made up for it big time. Maybe you just need to bring her to Az?

Is she teething? Caide had a day like that a couple of weeks ago - I finally figured out that he was cutting his 2 year molars - makes for a REALLY fussy kid! Just a thought - check in her mouth...she sure looked cute in the pictures. Love you guys!

Rough days are the worst......but let's be honest, it's not diaper rashes or cutting teeth. Clara is heart broken that she wasn't able to spend some time with Sergio Arturo. Sorry my son has that kind of effect on women. :) haha J/k But for real hard days are no fun and believe me when I say you are not alone in your feelings. Now I just hope that Clara does something that's just...Well melts your heart...we all need that every once in a while.

Let me know if you ever just want to hang out.

AH, thanks everyone for the support. She is doing a little better today, she is just a pill sometimes. I love her to pieces! I really need to hang out with my friends more especially ones who have kids her age, she loves the attention, and yes michelle, she really does miss Sergio Arturo, she cries for him at night :) LOVE YOU ALL!!

Um, how great is the name Sergio Arturo? But I do believe she misses Boston and would be a perfect angel if only her parents would move her to Arizona to be with him in the wonderful arizona malls forever!
Just think about it will ya?
