Counting on you!

Ok, so if you scroll down to the bottom of my page you will notice I added a counter (just for fun). Now I know I visit my blog a lot but I definitely haven't looked at it 400 times so that means there are quite a few people that look at my blog and I would LOVE some feedback! So family, friends, fellow photography lovers leave comments, you don't even have to have an account! Tell me what you like, what you don't like and feel free to ask any questions! I love reading everyone's comments. So leave lots of feedback and show my blog some love :)

I love everything about your blog! It knows I love it. It knows that if it weren't here every day or every other day that I check it I would go into a deep depression and perhaps throw my computer away. Seriously I love everything about it. one thing that I think you SHOULD do though is do a list on the side of great internet finds, cause you have great taste in everything and I know you find awesome stuff out there, and I think you should stop keeping it to yourself. You know like cute kids clothes sites, or great shoes, or fun photography stuff. There' my 2 cents. Oh, hey, where do you print at? Pictures and cards? AND enlargements???

You love me kristal! That is a good idea, maybe I will add a side bar with cool finds. I print at mpix, all because of you baby!! I love that place. I've tried whcc and they are ok but mpix is a lot easier to use.

And you've been happy with them?! I have about 80% of the time, but twice I had the colors print way off, and once I had 2 white spots in a picture that were really there. Do you print your cards there too? I've never done cards there. Do they do tri fold???

i don't think they do the tri-fold. I always select the do not color correct icon. They haven't messed up for me yet.

I visit your blog daily. You are such an inspiration! Now for the questions part....how do you add a counter to your blog? I'd love to know where you get Clara's clothes too. Love the idea about your good finds. Please share with us! :)

I always select do not color correct too. It was when I lived in Texas that they screwed them up. Once for regular pictures and once for a bulk order of baby announcements, l uckily the lady liked the purple tones instead of the light blue so I didn't have to worry about getting on them. K, so where do you print yoru tri fold cards??? I saw that WHHC does it, but they are about $1.50 a peice. I don't even know what we're doing for our cards, but I'm pricing every size everywhere.

LOVE the pics.
LOVE the playlist.
LOVE the stories.
LOVE EVERYTHING about your blog!

Can you feel the love yet?

And about printing labs....I recently switched to WHCC, but I'm seriously considering going back to Mpix. I have had one order get lost in transit, one get lost after I had saved it to send in later, and one order was mailed with missing 8x10's. I've never had a problem with coloring from either lab. I really like WHCC's "thrifty print" prices and wide selection of cards. And the ordering process seems tons faster, once I get all of my pics resized correctly. So, I guess I'm at a standstill. There are pros and cons with both labs.

I got frustrated with WHCC because it was a hair pulling experience to change my address! They just wouldn't do it so prints i was supposed to get in a couple days took 2 weeks. That's my only beef. Love the card selections though. Thanks for the love everyone!!

A little late responding, but I wanted to let you know I love your blog, too! I absolutely adore your photography style...I'd love to see you post tips on getting amazing pictures like you take or suggestions on where to learn such techniques:o) Perhaps a bi-weekly (or monthly) Q&A session!

My youngest is just a few months younger than Clara...it's fun to 'watch' your little one grow through your pictures.

I also appreciate that you openly share stories of your family, religion, experiences, etc.

I love your photography. Have you ever thought of working with Operation Love? They're an orginazation of photographers who do sessions for those in the U.S. Military. Family members get only 2 sessions. They can chose from photography session being done while their husband/wife/dad/mom is over seas, and the the pictures are sent to the loved one. Or you can get a pass to go to the gates at the local airport and take pictures of the service member either leaving to go overseas or coming home. It's awesome.

I never knew you had this tallent, I actually went to h.s. with you.

Great work!

Sorry meant to say on the Operation Love, the photography session and pictures are complimentary to the service member, and it's also great advertising for your company. You can do Operation Love and your own business at the same time.

That's awesome, I've never heard of that but I will definitely look into it! Who is this by the way? :)

This is Angela Nelson. My new married name is Leflett though. My husband is actually in the military overseas and I was looking for photographers and saw your blog on here. He'll be home in January and then in February we leave to go to Italy for our new home for a few years.

You have such an adoreable daughter.
