Zoo [overload]
Yesterday we Finally got to go to the zoo! I've been wanting to take Clara there for quite a few months. It was an almost perfect day, it got a bit hot towards the end. She just loved it there so much, she was in animal heaven! She made all the noises as she saw the animals and made sure to wave "hi" and "bye" for each one. She particularly enjoyed the "birdie on a stick". It was liking walking into a parakeet cage. She was chasing after the birds and trying to give them kisses. Even though she was red faced and worn out, she didn't want to leave.

Too Much
I really do blog too much. I seem to think of a reason to post almost every day. I bet some of you can't even keep up!!! I just love sharing!
Yesterday evening Robert decided it was time to mow our over grown yard. The backyard seriously had not been mowed since we moved in. Clara was being a spectator from the back door and being ever so cute as she is and since she put her shoes on herself, I knew she wanted to go out there too. So of course I let her. It was a beautiful evening. It hasn't been humid here lately which I LOVE! If Texas weren't humid, I seriously wouldn't mind living here. Clara loves to play outside, she loves animals and we have some friendly birdies outside that she likes to run up to and say hi. They fly away and she gets rather disappointed. She even waves high to the littlest ant trying to run as fast as he can so she doesn't squish him with her finger.

Clara has gotten really good at labeling her body parts, though the belly button was one of the firsts. I never did get a picture of it though. Her new discoveries have been her chin and her elbow.

Dad proceeded to work on the front yard and Clara just casually watched from the porch. She looks so grown up.

Ok, so no blogging from me for a couple days, I really am going to get some work done.
And thank you all SOOOO very much for all your comments, they really do mean a lot to me. And for all you locals, I'm conjuring up a sweet summer deal so get your outfits ready now :)

Fashion Show
Her first outfit shows her fun yet serious side as she creates a look of innocence and fun in this light pink summer dress perfect for lounging around the house or a delightful play date.

This next outfit is from her evening wear collection and is great for a night out on the town. Pair it with your favorite shoes... preferably matching... for a look that says "Here I am world, look at me!"

Clara makes a bold move by mixing and matching her shoes and wearing her hat side ways. She breaks the mold in the fashion world.

For a more hip look, throw on a pink cowboy hat and a pair of rain boots and have fun!
The possibilities are endless!!

Last Minute
I haven't really dived into the senior market yet but they are some of my favorites to photograph. They are so much easier to pose and they do what you ask them to do :) I have had a couple last minute seniors which I really don't mind. This one was fun; we did them at a spot that I was getting kind of tired of because I just couldn't seem to get the lighting right but I was determined to make it work and I really think I got it this time. All my sessions lately have almost been ruined by the wind. Luckily the wind died down just in time to get some nice shots without hair going every where.

Busy Weekend
This weekend was a very busy one and I'm having a hard time recovering! My little sister finally got hitched. I'm so happy for her, Randy is such a nice guy and it definitely smitten by her. It's really sad though, I wont be seeing her for a while. They are moving back to Utah so they can finish school. No more summers home, no more holidays. I've taken care of my little sister for so long, it's hard to pass the torch on to someone else. She really is my best friend. She knows how dumb I can be but it always makes her laugh and not many people can do that. I'm going to miss her so much but I'm glad she's married and she happy. I love you so much Melly!! You looked so beautiful.

Would it be a post without throwing some pictures of Clara in there? We curled her hair and she had a beautiful little dress on. It was too humid and windy for the curls to stay though.

Just Clara
Clara and I went to my mom's house so she could help me make curtains for Clara's new room. I don't know much about sowing so I did a little but let my mom do the harder tasks. My mom's backyard is so beautiful in the spring and Clara was just wondering around doing her cute little thing so of course, I had to snap a couple. I just ordered a bunch of pictures of her up to 1 year old and it is amazing how much she has changed. She has lost almost all her baby fat, especially in her little cheeks. She hardly looks the same to me. She's just so beautiful I can hardly stand it.
