Bride To Be

My little sister is all grown up and getting married. Where has the time gone?? I'm so excited and happy for her. She is such a beautiful bride and I find it so fun that she is wearing my wedding dress, I love seeing her in it, it reminds me of my wedding day. We had a fun shoot, long, windy, but very fun. We don't have much time left to spend together so I'll take what I can get. Enjoy these pictures! There were so many to choose from we could hardly pick our favorites.

Can you believe I made this?? Not bad for $30 grocery store flowers.

Time's running out!! color?
Or black and white?

Flower Girl

You are probably wondering why I have so many pictures of my friend but we are working on a project. Though she is gorgeous so it is ok to have lots of pictures of her :)

New Room|Old Friends

It's been a while since Clara has had a room all to herself. I thought she would be afraid of the big, pink room. Usually the first few nights in a new place really freaks her out and she will wake up at least 2 or 3 times. I think she knew it was her very own room and it made her feel better. And boy is it pink! She loves her crib too, she's been sleeping in a pack'n'play for almost a year so I don't blame her. I've been enjoying my own bed as well!

A Girl & Her Horse

What a fun & beautiful session! This senior girl is lucky enough to live on a large plot of land, we never left their property! They have a beautiful ranch quite a ways outside the metroplex. We did a little off roading to find a good spot of wild flowers, which I enjoyed. She has a horse named Fred who was very cooperative but I found it a little strange: what do you say to a horse to get it to look at you??? I hope you like them! Back To Normal...

Well, at least I have internet. Our home is far from being ready so the most I will be taking pictures of is our over grown yard and patio. Clara has been on a bubble kick lately so I bought her the coolest bubble wand. She was a little afraid of it at first but warmed up quick and had loads of fun. I think she's gonna like it here.

Family Pics

The very talented miss Anna Jones took our first family pictures for us while we were in Utah a couple weeks ago. She has quite a few posted on her website so take a look! I'm so glad she did them for us, I absolutely love them and can't wait to put them up in our new home!!

Do you miss me yet?

We are slowly getting settled into our new house but I wont be posting pictures of it for a while, it still has a lot of work and I still don't have internet access but hopefully will on Friday. Things are really busy for us but we are loving it and Clara is too.

In the midst of all the chaos I took a little break to photograph my monthly session which always helps me get refocused on what I love doing and why I love doing it. She was a little afraid of the bluebonnets but we got quite a few good ones.

I'm in love with this one.

Changes

I hate to say it but I wont be blogging for several days if not a week or more. We are moving and we wont have internet access for a while. You can still email me, but I wont be checking it every day. The best way to get a hold of me is to call. If you have ordered anything or have had a recent session, I ask for your patience. I will work on them as fast as I can. I hope to be back and blogging regularly soon! Until then, see ya later!!!

A Texas Tradition

These were taken before we left for Utah. I have never taken pictures in the bluebonnets and I have lived in Texas all my life, how sad is that? I couldn't let them slip by this time so Chelsea, Doug and I grabbed the kids and found the perfect spot. Too bad they didn't want to cooperate but luckily if you stick around long enough your bound to get a few :)

Utah

This past weekend Robert, Clara, and I went to Utah with Robert's brothers & Chelsea to visit the Fullmer family. Mainly their Grandpa Jack who is in the hospital. None of them have seen him in years so we figured it was a good time to go. This was our first time flying with Clara. I was scared out of my mind but she did wonderfully. She was quiet and very cooperative even though we were stuck at the airport for 5 hours on Thursday. She was awesome the whole trip and I'm so proud of her. We did a lot of sight seeing while we were there in Salt Lake and I even ran into my cousin, Lauren who is serving a mission on Temple Square, what are the odds?? We also met up with a good friend of Robert & his brothers and his adorable wife. We had a great time with them. Our family stayed with my long time best friend, Kristin. I didn't get any pictures with her, I wasn't too much into taking many pictures unfortunately. I also got to meet up with some old college friends and my sister!! It was a really great time and I'm glad we went.

I've been out of town the last several days which explains the lack of blogging!! I will be back to blogging shortly after I get life back in order. So much to tell so little time!!! Until then, enjoy this little cutie!!

A little preview

Mom and dad are going to have to lock this little heart breaker up when she turns 16!! Check out those beautiful eyes!! I had so much fun photographing her though after I tortured her with the big fluffy pettiskirt of death, I don't think she'll want to see me again :) Here's a preview for you guys, it was so nice meeting you!!

She knew how to strut
