This is the little sister of the cutie in the red tie and tennis shoes. She is such a doll and has the biggest and bluest eyes that she keeps wide open. She looks like a little pixie to me. I love this age, they are such good sports and don't move too much. (hint hint to anyone who has babies that need their pictures taken ;) )
I was shocked by the news I received in my email this morning that my beloved prophet has passed away. What a great man, I loved him so much. I am sad because I will miss him a lot, he has been the prophet for most of my life. But I'm happy because I know how much he missed his sweet wife and I know it is a joyous reunion. I'm sure he is being received by many with open arms. Yesterday I had to give a talk in church about sustaining our church leaders and I'm so glad I was able to share my testimony and love for him. I admired his positive attitude, his amazingly strong testimony and his love for every single person on this earth. He was so sincere and touched my life with his testimony and example. My little cousin sure did keep me busy but isn't he a cutie?? My aunt has some of the cutest kids I've ever seen! Just wait till you see his little sister and you've already seen how beautiful his big sister is here. I love his converse shoes! What a stud! I did a little vintage action on these but blogger makes them look funny. The originals are much better.
Thanks to my awesome friend Kristal I have learned how to make a picture a link and thought I would offer to share it with you. I got smart and decided to put the code as a picture so it would let me share the code. Here's the code with directions underneath. To see the code larger, click on it:
Go into your customize page and select Add a new page element and select the one that says HTML/Javascript. Put in the above code and replace the www.siteyouwanttogoto.com with whatever site you want linked. Then using a picture hosting site such as Photobucket, load the picture and then copy and paste the DIRECT LINK into the code where it says yourpicture.jpg. Easy as that. Now, if you have any questions let me know :)
Edited to add: To do links on the side of your blog like mine, you need to size them to bout 125 pixels on each side and 72 dpi. Also, if you do it wrong the first time and try uploading a picture to photobucket again you have to name it something different and then paste the new link.
I guess she sees me doing it enough each day that she felt like she could do it herself. Though she kept trying to put the eye shadow in her hair and on her nose. She then proceeded to dig her fingers in the eye shadow and dump out all my powder... no more make up for her.
of babies!!! I just love to watch a new baby who is just learning to see the world. This little 2 month old who you've all seen before is growing so fast! She was just the most adorable thing ever, just cooing and smiling and wobbling all over the place. She was just precious.
We've really been enjoying the few days of cold weather here, it doesn't come but once a year. We even got a little "snow"! I took these pictures with my new baby, the canon 24-70 2.8L lens. I LOVE IT! I think we are going to be very good friends.
Do I take too many picture of Clara? Yes. Do I care? No.
She's starting to care though. Usually going outside is her favorite thing to do. This time she led me on to believe I just might get some good pictures of her. She was in a good mood, had her freshly fixed hair, some cute clothes, we go outside, she walks around and I follow.
I sit outside for a minute or two with no sign of her then I see her little face pop into the window.
I haven't shared any bath pictures of Clara in a while. She loves her bath and if you mention the word she goes running to the bath tub and starts tugging at her clothes. Her new favorite thing to do is sit up and then throw her whole body down to get some major splashing, she gets about 70% of the bathroom wet. She also likes me to leave the water on so she can fill up her cup and dump it on herself. She makes sure I stay close so I get sufficiently wet as well.

This would be the first morning in.... ever that I have woken up before Clara. I have been sitting here for almost an hour waiting to hear a squeal, giggle or something but still nothing. I peaked into Clara's room to see if she was still alive and she was snoozing away on top of her blankets. Another 30 minutes goes by and I take another peak and she is snoozing under her blankets. It is now 10:30 and she is still not awake. Had I known she would sleep in so long I would still be in bed right now. Blast.
