What A Sweetie

Another adorable little girl that just makes me love what I do. Mom really knew what it was all about and brought 4 outfits and was all for the tutu I had. Such fun! The first one is my favorite, babies give me the funniest looks when I'm making strange noises to get them to look at me, that humbling "are you nuts?" look. :)

Spring Is Coming

We had a freak day of 85 degree weather and Clara and I soaked it up. We whipped out her shorts and flip flops and went to the park. It is amazing how much she has grown and developed since the last time we were at the park. She can now scale the rock climbing wall, go down the slides all by herself (even the tallest one) and crawl through the bendy tubes. But, her favorite activity is still playing with the dirt and burying her feet. Unfortunately it didn't last and the next day it was back to 40 degrees.

Round 2

The last pictures I took of these cuties was just a practice session though I'm glad I snapped some because this time was a little trickier. A little less cooperation but the cuteness goes above and beyond. I still managed to get a ton of cute ones.

Rain Rain Go Away

Like I've said, I have had too many pictures to post so these are several days old and I'm just getting around to posting them. Last weekend was very cold and very wet. Clara and I spent most of the day shopping together and I thought I was done but the thought popped into my head that I should get her some boots and a rain coat. So after she woke up from her nap I drove to Old Navy to see what I could find. Unfortunately the minute she stepped outside and ran down the driveway she face planted into the street though I photoshopped the red welt and cut on her forehead out. She wasn't too upset about it, she had a lot of fun and I could barely keep up with her.

I love my job!

I have been taking too many pictures lately I can hardly keep up! I'll post slowly though just in case there's a day when I don't have anything to blog :)

So to start with, I had a photo shoot with my monthly clients and as I was setting up, Clare comes strutting in, walks onto my backgrounds and just has a seat. I'm so glad I had my camera ready because in less than 10 seconds she was up and on her way again.

I hate what blogger does to the colors, they are so much brighter and prettier on my computer. Blogger makes them dull and flat. If you click on the picture, the color is fixed.

Excuse the crazy hair too, she doesn't sit still long enough for me to fix it.

I can't decide, color or black and white.

So on to the real session. You might recognize this little beauty, I have been taking her pictures since literally the day she was born. She is 3 months old now and I just can't handle how cute she continues to get. Each session has been better and better. She was so cooperative and happy and just made me melt. A lot of the pictures I took she had the biggest, cutest smile on her face.
It's sessions like these that make me LOVE my job.

WARNING, EXTREME CUTENESS TO FOLLOW!!! Do not scroll down if you don't think you can handle it :)

Two Lips

My sweet valentine bought me red tulips (we both think red roses are cliche) for this day of love, I couldn't have been more excited. Neither of us are really big fans of the commercialism of holidays so it is fun to think outside the box and do something creative. I got red tulips and a rectangle box of Pot of Gold chocolates and he got homemade fortune cookies with reeces pieces in them and some chocolates from Clara.

Anyways, I basically have the sweetest husband in the world, he is so thoughtful. He actually brought the flowers and chocolates home last night because he wanted me to have a whole day of enjoying them instead of just a night. It's the little things that he does that or says that just makes me melt. I love you so much Robert, you really are the man of my dreams :) I hope everyone's Valentine's day is just as special.

What better way to enjoy the flowers than to photograph them :)

had a droopy one already

I really wish I had a macro lens
