Knock Knock

Clara's grandma bought her this very cute little doorway for Christmas. It really is the coolest thing and Clara loves it. There are so many buttons she can press and knobs to turn. It is amazing how fast she is growing; she can now even put shapes into the right spot. I love watching her learn new things and especially when she copies us. She lovingly pats us on the back, says "Hiii" (voice fluctuations included), when she enters the room, quacks, moos, woofs, and meows, knows where her nose, toes, and belly button are, and all sorts of silly things. Her cuteness has brought us more joy than we could have ever hoped!

May 10th

Here are some more from our little engagement endeavor. Both days were freezing cold, poor Melanie. The things we do for love, they were such good sports.

Merry

We sure did have a fun Christmas! Clara kind of had the hang of the presents thing, she thoroughly enjoyed digging through her stocking and finding lots of goodies. She didn't open very many presents once she had discovered her little stroller. She loves pushing it around all over the house and loading it with all sorts of goodies, unfortunately the baby gets left behind.
I think my favorite part of Christmas (and most holidays) is the food! I just love the cookies, turkey, and stuffing, mmmmmmm. Here's a collage of all the fun we had this Christmas.

New Beau

It's official, my little sister is engaged. I never thought this day would come, I still think she shouldn't be driving! She's still little in my eyes! I'm so happy for her, he's a really great guy and he gets a long great with our family which is very important. This is round one of their engagement pictures so stay tuned for more. I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!!

Looking For Snow

Does any one know where we can find some?? Clara is ready to play in it. I hate how little snow Texas gets, it just doesn't seem Christmas without it and you don't get to wear all the cute winter clothes for very long. Here are just some fun ones of Clara on a cold, but snow-less day.

Santa Baby

Just sharing my last session of the year! Hooray! I wont be taking anymore sessions until January. Thanks to everyone for making this such a terrific year. I've learned so much and met so many awesome people. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas.

Squirrelly

These girls were so funny! I love how parents try so hard to make there kids act so prim and proper but the best pictures are when the squeeze in a squirrelly moment! If you take a couple pretty ones you just have to let them take a break and make a silly face. Am I right? :)

Sleepy

I just love how newborns are such great sleepers. You can do anything to them and they just lay there limp. This sleepy girl was just precious. Check out all that hair too!

Graduate

Saturday morning was Robert's graduation. I haven't seen Robert that happy in a long time. I'm so proud of him for all his hard work and dedication. It has also been so nice to have such wonderful support from our families. Thanks to everyone who helped us get to this point, we can't have done it without you. I look forward to the extra time we get to spend together now! Hooray!

Fall Joy

Sometimes the best photo ops aren't even planned! It had been a long day and we had just gotten out of the car. I had too much stuff in my hands so I let Clara walk up the driveway on her own (no shoes or anything, bad me!) and she took a detour to the lawn. My parent's trees had leaves yesterday but today they decided they were ready to fall and they seriously all fell in one day. Clara was fun running through the leaves and looked so cute so I threw down my stuff and grabbed my camera, of course. She was having such a great time throwing the leaves up and putting them in her hair. I just love this little girl so much, she just helps me find joy in everything!
