I am so excited for Larissa to have a baby. She (though I tell her otherwise) is the cutest little pregnant woman ever. Her belly is getting so big and so cute. I can't wait to meet here little baby girl..... or boy......

For Michelle

Ok, you have to know how obsessed I am with photography when I took this shoot an hour ago and I'm already proofing them. This was such an enjoyable shoot because little S was first off, so adorable but it was for my friend Michelle who I felt more relaxed with than other people most likely because we are friends. Even though it took us 2 hours it was nice to have the time for her to calm her down, change her diaper, and get a lot of adorable shots. Thanks Michelle for letting me practice on your new little angel. I hope you like them. And don't worry, these are only a few, there are MANY more!

The REAL Clara

As a photographer and always trying to get the "perfect" picture, I often times forget to take the "candid" shots that really show personality and as Clara being my first and only child, you would think I would have the camera always on, which is usually the case, but not at the right times - the fun times when she is just being the cute, fun, little goofball that she is. So today, I introduce you to the "real" Clara......

Looking for a Pool

How come it isn't as easy to find cute adult swimsuits as it is to find baby swimsuits? You would think the need is greater. Maybe there are just more babies in the world or maybe it's because their fat is cuter, but I can always find the most adorable swimsuits for Clara. I need to take her swimming first before I buy her gobs of swimsuits but first I have to find one for myself. That might take longer and then it will be too cold to go swimming. Sorry Clara, looks like you'll just have to play in the rain.

Pink Hat

Clara hates things on her head so of course I had to torture her with this one. I just couldn't stand how cute it was!! She's giving me this look like "mom, you're nuts". Pretty soon I know she's not going to let me take any more pics of her. Might as well do it as often as I can!

10 Months

Clara turned 10 months on Monday and I can hardly believe she can be this old! She has grown so much, I hardly recognize her. She has learned a lot and keeps getting more and more fun. She crawls like a pro and has now started following us around. I love seeing her little bum wiggle and waggle. She is really trying to walk too, she cruises around the couches, tables, laundry basket, anything she can get up on. This is the perfect age, I just wish she could stay this way.

That's What Little Boys Are Made Of

I took some pictures of these handsome boys to help build my portfolio and they were the greatest little boys!! The oldest is the same age as my nephew... same name too... go figure.... and reminded me of him, he was so helpful but also so informative and just kept talking. Every time I tried to give me a good smile he would squish his face up and just show me teeth. It was funny. He was really helpful too and wanted to make sure I got all the posses of his brothers right. 4 boys! I couldn't imagine!

Things I Love

Thanks Kristal for tagging me to list 7 things that I Love! Here goes....

7- Chocolate cake - seriously - almost any kind but my favorite is Betty Crocker moist dark chocolate - yes - from a box. Go figure! I just love the moist, rich texture though my next favorite would be the double dark chocolate cake at Rafains, There's always room for dessert.

6- My bed - If you know me well you know that I am NOT a morning person, in fact it is the worst time of day. I hate waking up, I hate how I feel after waking up, I HATE alarm clocks, and I hate getting out of my warm, cozy covers. If I could be anywhere right now I would be curled up on my nice pillow top between my cotton sheets and my oh so squishy down comforter, ahhhhh.

5- Macs - Yes Robert, it is true, I have been converted. Robert bought a Mac several months ago and it has become mine. I feel bad because I get to use it more than him and he even slips and calls it my comptuer... BUWHAHAHAHA.... poor guy. I love their features, the colors, and they are so easy to use. I'm on it more than I'm in my comfy bed.

4- Photography - It has become my new obsession and I owe it all to Kristal for inspiring me. She has shown me the light and has helped me find fun places to learn new things. I love photographing Clara, I could take pictures of her every day if I could. I love when people look at their pictures and just love them, it makes me giddy. I have always loved art, I used to draw and since that is so time consuming and I never showcase my results, I have found a new way to show my artistic side and to show off my oh so cute family.

3- Shopping/Clothes - It's simple, if I could spend all my money on clothes I would. Every birthday or holiday I just ask for money so I can go shopping. I love the feeling of new clothes and I love how they look. I have a hard time spending money on accessories, though I am getting better. I have learned that simple outfits can look AMAZING with the righ accessories or shoes. Andrienne is my inspiration, she's got the best sense of style ever.

2- Harry Potter- I am completely obsessed. I'm sure those around me are so sick of hearing it. I love the story, I love the characters and I LOVE reading the books. I get so involved and love to just pretend like I'm in the story. When I was reading it every day I used to have some crazy dreams about me being in the story. I am not a big fan of reading but this is one series I can't put down.

1 - My Family - Of course they are my number one love. I have the greatest husband in the world who is the sweetest, most charming, most handsome, most caring, most perfect for me - guy in the world. He means so much to me and I just love him so much!! And I of course love my precious daughter who just lights up our lives with her sweet little spirit. I adore my parents, my sisters, and brothers (in laws included) and I just think that every single person - extended and all - are just the greatest people in the world. I've always been so lucky to have such a terrific family and people always take notice about how wonderful they are. I love you all!!! And of course I love all my friends that are like family to me - I wont name you just so I don't leave you out, but you know who you are. I'm just thankful for everyone who puts up with me - that takes a special kind of person. :)

I love weddings

I had the privilege to photograph a wedding last weekend where I was the main shooter, SCARY!!! Luckily I had Larissa there to help and keep me organized. It was crazy! Lots of times I forgot the posses I wanted, couldn't get people organized and dang was it hot!! But it was so fun. I really enjoy photographing weddings and I LOVE editing them. Brides are the most beautiful people in the world. Here are several of my favorites. I'm not quite done post processing due to the high number of pictures - 700, crazy I know!! But hopefully I'll be done soon so I can show the bride and groom.

Clara's First Bubble Bath

I've been taking a ton of pictures lately!! This was Clara's first bubbly experience! She was a little cautious at first; she wouldn't touch the bubbles. Then she tried to eat them and would wave them to her. It was pretty funny. Then she started splashing like crazy!! She loves her bath-time!!
